Starting this morning, consumers in Houston, Indianapolis, Sacramento and Los Angeles began to sign up for Verizon 5G Home at FirstOn5G.com.

We’re going to start with Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg, who appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Alley” after his discussion at this morning’s Goldman Sachs Communacopia conference in New York. There, Hans announced that Verizon 5G Home is open for business.
Back in Los Angeles, Verizon’s wireless chief, Ronan Dunne, said, “We stopped talking about it [5G], we’re doing it. It’s here and now” at his keynote starting day two at Mobile World Congress Americas. “Customers today in L.A. can sign up and join the 5G revolution. People will think back to where they were when this happened and we were here. It’s that revolutionary.”
Starting this morning, consumers in Houston, Indianapolis, Sacramento y Los Angeles began to sign up for Verizon 5G Home at FirstOn5G.com.
“With 5G Home, you now have choice for wireless internet connectivity at home at a level never experienced before. It’s 4K and 8K streaming video, and home automation that can all be managed by the smartphone in your pocket,” said Dunne.
At the Verizon booth on the show floor, (South Stand S 1302), the in-booth speaker series drew big crowds. On a panel titled, “Verizon’s 5G Network Difference: Ultra Wideband”, Verizon executives described the beginning of our 5G journey three years ago and how we got to where we are today.
“The fourth industrial revolution is starting in 2018 on the back of the 5G innovations we are bringing forward,” said SVP Toby Redshaw.
