Late last year Verizon introduced its FiOS Quantum Gateway router, which offers the fastest Wi-Fi available from any provider. Now, the company already is enhancing its most powerful router with a feature that enables small business FiOS Internet customers to offer and manage their own guest Wi-Fi access to their customers.

As a small business with the FiOS Quantum Gateway, you can:

  • Create a separate, secure WPA2 encrypted network just for your customers, allowing them access to free Internet access at your business.
  • Provide Wi-Fi access to your customers through a unique login and password, chosen by you, that is separate from the network you run your business on.
  • Simplify connections with a dedicated, single sign-on ID and unique password.

This new release is the first of more enhancements to come for the FiOS Quantum Gateway. Best of all, these new features, come at no additional cost for our customers. Like our SpeedMatch upgrades last year, it’s another way to thank you for being our customer.

We work hard to provide a great customer experience, and customers seem to agree. Verizon is ranked “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Very Small Business Wireline Service” in the J.D. Power “J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Business Wireline Satisfaction Study”. The company was ranked highest for overall satisfaction, which includes the following factors: performance and reliability, customer service, communications, sales reps, cost of service and billing.
