The revolutionary potential of 5G offers opportunities for organizations across industries. In particular, the different 5G spectrum bands each have their advantages. The benefits of 5G mmWave include extremely high bandwidth and low latency. This can give companies looking to deploy emerging and innovative applications with faster speeds and less delay than previous wireless networking technology.

5G uses different frequencies of the radio spectrum and is often categorized as low-band (under 1GHz), mid-band (between 1 GHz and 6 GHz), which includes C-Band, and high-band (between 24 GHz and 40 GHz). 5G millimeter wave, or 5G mmWave, refers to 5G that uses the high-band frequency of the radio spectrum, that is above 24 GHz.
