Massimo Peselli

Massimo Peselli is the Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, Global Enterprise and Public Sector for Verizon Business. He leads a global team focused on delivering innovative technologies like 5G, mobile edge computing (MEC), cloud, security, and software-defined networking, to enable enterprise and public sector clients to win in the marketplace today while laying the groundwork for their digital transformation journeys.

Tapping his more than two decades of industry experience, Massimo has the vision and expertise to help customers unlock the transformative capabilities necessary to meet and exceed their business goals. He fosters a culture of performance excellence built on Verizon’s core values of integrity, respect, and kindness.

Prior to his current role, Massimo served as Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise, where he led a global team focused on enabling enterprise customers to securely and intelligently manage business interactions and operations in real-time while laying the foundation for long-term transformational growth.

Previously, Massimo was Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business Development and the International Sales market, where he was responsible for leveraging Verizon Business’ product portfolio to change the way customers do business. Prior to that position, he was Vice President of Enterprise Sales for 13 states on the US West Coast, which expanded to overseeing the Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Professional Services vertical. His scope continued to expand when in 2015, he was named Group Vice President, Sales Vertical Markets, where he was responsible for five teams covering all vertical markets in the US, which transitioned into an appointment as Sales Group VP Americas and APAC/LATAM and Canada responsible for wireline enterprise sales.

Massimo joined Verizon in 1997 as Head of Pre-Sales in Italy and continued to serve in sales leadership positions in Italy serving as Sales Director, Italy and Spain, and then working as a Sales Area Vice President, South Region based in Milan.

Before joining Verizon, he worked for Telecom Italia, in their presales engineering organization, and also worked on a special project to develop the first ICT integration of a Contact Center and back-office data in 1995.

Peselli holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in Italy.

Scott Lawrence

Scott Lawrence is Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer for Verizon Business. He is responsible for Verizon Business’ holistic product portfolio and strategy, including Network Services, Platforms, Cyber Security, Connected Experiences, FWA and IoT Solutions. In this role, he oversees a global team that develops a clear and compelling vision for product-led growth across all of Verizon Business’ customers.

In his previous role with the Global Solutions organization, he was accountable for delivering strategic and innovative business solutions to Enterprise and Public Sector clients around the globe. He supported a revenue base of $15B+ and led a team of over 1,000 Sales and Technology professionals globally focused on delivering business outcomes to clients through Verizon’s best-in-class global solutions such as 5G, Edge Computing, Software-Defined Services, Cyber Security and Connected Experiences.

Before that, Scott was Group Vice President and General Manager, Global Enterprise, where he had P&L responsibility for Verizon Business’ International segment across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience for Verizon Business’ Global Enterprise clients across a full spectrum of the Verizon Business portfolio. Prior to his international assignment, Scott was Vice President, Verizon Business’ Advanced Solutions Sales & Engineering where he was responsible for an organization of Sales Specialists and Solution Architects across three solution practice towers: Cyber Security, Workplace Collaboration (Unified Communications & Collaboration) and Customer Experience (CX) supporting Global Enterprise and Public Sector customers.

In addition, Scott has held various senior leadership roles across Verizon’s Sales, Operations, Strategy and System Integrators teams. Prior to rejoining Verizon in 2004, Scott held Sales leadership and Business Development roles at Allied Riser Communications and OpenReach.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and currently lives in Chicago, IL with his wife and three children where he is active in his community and coaching youth sports.

Maggie Hallbach

Maggie Hallbach is the President of Verizon Frontline and Senior Vice President of Public Sector at Verizon, leading the team of professionals dedicated to partnering with Verizon’s federal, state, local, education and public safety customers to deliver innovative technology solutions and services. This includes Verizon Frontline, the advanced network and technology built for first responders.

Maggie has held a number of executive roles during her more than two decades at Verizon. Most recently she served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Sales for VerizonPublic Sector where she led the team focused on developing, designing and capturing strategic opportunities in the Public Sector.

She has also served as Vice President of the state, local and education markets for Verizon. In this role, she and her team were responsible for developing solutions to address the increasingly complex requirements of state and local governments and education clients.

Additionally, Maggie has held a variety of roles focused on delivering customer experience enhancements and increasing shareholder value. She headed Verizon’s Lean Six Sigma efforts to drive ongoing business transformation and process improvement across Verizon Enterprise Solutions.

Maggie earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing and finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Brown University. She is also on the boards of directors at the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and the United Service Organizations (USO). Maggie is committed to inclusion of youth and adults with special needs, dedicating time to TOP Soccer, Best Buddies International and supporting the Arc of Northern Virginia.

Daniel Lawson

Daniel Lawson is a Vice President of Solutions Architecture in the Verizon Business Group. In this role, he is responsible for Verizon’s US-based enterprise and public sector segments and brings a unified team working across technologies to deliver business outcomes. Prior to this assignment, Daniel ran the Network, Applications, and Innovation team. In that role, he was the global practice owner for the application and network portfolios with a team of network technology subject matter experts, application specialists, and lab engineers who focused on enabling digital transformation for our customers through the power of our network capabilities (including emerging technology in SDN, edge compute, deep infrastructure/application insights, automation, and AI/ML techniques).

During earlier engineering and architecture leadership roles over the last 20 years with Verizon, Daniel has supported private and public sector customers; the financial, manufacturing, and healthcare industries; and many internal initiatives. He has extensive background in enterprise networking, mobility, IoT, edge cloud, outsourcing and managed services, optical transport, unified communications and collaboration, contact center, and security technologies.

Daniel is an active supporter of local Dallas charities benefitting the American Heart Association and Alzheimer's research. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University.

Jonathan Nikols

Jonathan Nikols is the Senior Vice President, Global Enterprise Sales, Americas for Verizon Business. He leads a team focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for enterprise customers leveraging innovative technologies such as 5G, mobile edge computing (MEC), cloud, security, and software-defined networking.

With deep industry expertise, Jonathan has a true understanding of how outcome-based solutions and the strategy that goes into deployment creates sustained growth and prosperity for customers.

Prior to joining Verizon, Jonathan was the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Services and Solutions at Hewlett-Packard – a role in which he reinvented the business model from hardware only to a data-driven “as a service” offering utilizing customer insights and market intelligence. Jonathan also led the end-to-end Services and Solutions Specialist teams encompassing Pre-Sales, Pursuit, Customer Success, Professional Services functions and the Practice and Sales Management teams.  

Previously Jonathan held leadership positions at companies such as Polycom, NCR, Avaya and AT&T. Jonathan has led global solution sales organizations for more than two decades that focus on solving customer business problems delivering meaningful customer outcomes through transformational business models.

Jonathan served on multiple advisory boards focused on Managed Services, Value Selling Principles, Artificial Intelligence and Data Management. These organizations include the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) and the Ecosystems Value Creation Advisory Board.

Jonathan and his family reside in the greater Chicago area, where he spends time volunteering as a youth mentor through sports and engages in local community service organizations.

Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science, Business from Illinois State University.

Danny Johnson

Danny Johnson, a 20+ year veteran in the technology industry, is a seasoned executive possessing experience in software development, engineering, sales, consulting, product development, and marketing. Danny has started and launched innovative products and solutions into multi-billion dollar markets and is currently Director of product marketing for Verizon Business Group where his responsibilities include: portfolio positioning and messaging, competitive differentiation, and new channel activation for Verizon Business Group’s 5G, MEC, IoT, and SDN portfolios.

Joshua Gough

Mr. Gough began his career with the US Border Patrol on September 2, 1997, as a member of Academy class 350. His first duty assignment was at the Imperial Beach Station in San Diego Sector. From 2004 to 2008 he was promoted to Supervisory Border Patrol Agent where he supervised the All-Terrain Vehicle Unit and the Field Training Unit, Field Operations Supervisor at the San Clemente Station, then promoted to Assistant Patrol Agent in Charge.

From 2008 to 2017, Mr. Gough held various positions within USBP. He was promoted to Deputy Patrol Agent in Charge at the San Clemente Station and served as the Acting Patrol Agent in Charge for the Imperial Beach Station where he created San Diego Sector’s Coastal Border Enforcement Teams. He completed a Joint Duty Assignment with Air and Marine Operations at Naval Air Station North Island and was promoted to Assistant Chief Patrol Agent in San Diego Sector. He accepted a transfer to US Border Patrol Headquarters as an Assistant Chief where he worked to establish a national performance measurement system for border security.

Mr. Gough promoted to Associate Chief in June 2021 and played a key role in the efficiency realignment within the Strategic Planning and Analysis Directorate at US Border Patrol Headquarters and had responsibility for developing and delivering innovative technologies to the field. He also served as both an Acting Patrol Agent in Charge for the Nogales Border Patrol Station and as the Acting Division Chief for LE Operational Programs in Tucson Sector.

In January 2023, he promoted to the Senior Executive Service in Operations Support serving as the Executive Director for the Planning, Analysis and Requirements Evaluation Directorate. In this position he leads enterprise-wide business case development, oversees operational vulnerability assessments, and leads one of five certified DHS Independent Test and Evaluation authorities.

Mr. Gough holds a Master of Arts in Religion with a focus on church history and theology from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of CBP’s Leadership Institute.

Greg Corlis

Greg Corlis is a Partner at KPMG and leads our Emerging Technologies Practice. Within this role, Greg has worked with clients to develop their strategy, design, build and deploy tech solutions leveraging the latest technology solutions (i.e. 5G, IoT, Edge Computing, AI/ML, etc.). He has worked with clients across the Sports and Entertainment, Telecom, Higher Education, Manufacturing, Warehousing and Logistics, Aerospace and Defense, Retail, Healthcare and Hospitality industries. Over Greg’s 21 years with the firm, he has helped clients to resolve complex business issues by creating unique technology-based solutions which deliver measurable financial and performance results to the organization. He excels in highly sophisticated organizations, compressing large issues into manageable solutions and facilitating collaboration across teams.

Sandra Cutrona

Sandra has devoted 27 years in Telecommunications Operations and Technology. She is currently leading the sales of Ericsson’s Enterprise and Emerging Business portfolio. Prior to joining the Verizon Account in April 2022, Sandra was Head of Eastern Regional Accounts, Canada responsible for all sales including industry verticals such as utilities across Canada.

Sandra joined Ericsson in 1996 as a project system tester. She has held various strategic leadership roles in sales, operations, engineering, and enterprise IT.

She is passionate about Health, Wellness and Diversity & Inclusion and a member of the Women of Ericsson (WE) North America ERG committee.

David Green

David is currently the Vice President of Network Products for Verizon, Ericsson’s longstanding strategic technology partner and global customer.

David leads a diverse team of solution, commercial and logistical experts to ensure that Ericsson lives up to Verizon's promise of 5G network performance and reliability. David’s team delivers networks used by both consumer and enterprise end users by deploying key Ericsson solutions, including high performance RAN across the Ericsson portfolio of industry leading technology.

David has 25+ years in the telecom industry leading diverse sales teams across several global customers successfully implementing 5G and earlier technologies across their networks.

He has Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and daughters.

Charlie Myers

Charlie Myers is the Chief Technology Officer for Monumental Sports and Entertainment. Charlie oversees a new department inclusive of information technology, engineering, cyber security, digital development, new technologies & innovation projects, and other critical technology needs.

Charlie joined Monumental from Sirius XM where he served as Vice President and General Manager of Media & Development Engineering where he was responsible for technology and media infrastructure, strategic planning, and design for all linear media platforms, as well as overseeing video production, IP networks and asset management systems. Under his leadership, Sirius deployed multiple new strategies and platforms to align with evolving best practices and digital advancements contributing to $8B in annual revenue. Prior to that Charlie worked for Discovery, Inc. and was involved with building major media facilities, overseeing global transmission platforms, and managing a media research and development team that was involved with the development and deployment of HD, 3D and UHD technologies worldwide.

Charlie holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Farmingdale State College – SUNY and is an MBA candidate at the University of Illinois Gies School of Business. He is a longtime resident of Northern Virginia alongside his wife and two sons.

David Lehanski

David Lehanski is the Executive Vice President of Business Development & Innovation for the National Hockey League, responsible for advancing innovative initiatives for the NHL through the establishment of corporate partnerships, state-of-the-art technology solutions and new revenue.

Over the past several seasons, Lehanski has been focused on developing new solutions with industry-leading technology providers including Apple, AWS, SAP, Rogers and Verizon to improve and enhance the game for players, coaches and officials, as well as for fans and for the League’s broadcast and corporate partners. He has been integral in the development of the NHL’s innovative Puck and Player Tracking technology, available in all 32 NHL arenas, as well as in securing new partnerships with AWS, the Official Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning Infrastructure Provider of the NHL, and Verizon, the League’s Official 5G Partner, Official Wireless Services Partner and Official Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) Partner in the U.S.

Lehanski was instrumental in the creation and implementation of the NHL’s groundbreaking in-arena coaching system introduced in 2017 - in collaboration with Apple - delivering real-time video highlights to coaches on the benches of every NHL arena. He also helped to develop the next phase of the NHL’s in-arena coaching system with the launch of the SAP-NHL Coaching Insights App for iPad, providing access to real-time, customized data and player statistics during the game on home and away benches in all 32 arenas.

Since joining the League in 2005, Lehanski has played an important role in the League’s path to more than $5 billion in annual revenues, establishing landmark partnerships for the NHL with some of the biggest global brands including AWS, Verizon, Apple, SAP, Dunkin, Honda, PepsiCo, Geico, Discover, Enterprise, Cisco, and MillerCoors, among many others. Most recently, Lehanski has been one of the drivers in the League’s progressive approach to sports betting, helping to secure strategic partnerships with MGM Resorts International, FanDuel and Caesars.

Before joining the NHL, Lehanski served as Vice President of Marketing Solutions at Clear Channel Advantage where he worked with Fortune 500 advertisers/marketers to develop, sell, and activate fully integrated media/marketing solutions that leveraged all of Clear Channel’s assets. Previously, Lehanski was the co-founder and Vice President of HallOfSports.com, an online company focused on the distribution of sports memorabilia and collectibles with a long-term goal of consolidating the industry. He also spent several years as a consultant on the agency side at SFX Sports and Clarion Sports & Entertainment.

Lehanski was named to SportsBusiness Journal’s Forty Under 40 Class of 2012, recognizing executives for excellence and innovation in their industry before the age of 40. He earned a B.A. with a major in economics from Bowdoin College and currently resides in Ridgewood, NJ with his wife Alison and two sons, Eddie and Leo.

Mike Burr

Mike is the Senior Security Consultant on the Android Enterprise team at Google. He has an extensive background in the security and mobility industry to include positions at McAfee and Intel as a Global Mobility Architect. At Google, he is responsible for educating and evangelizing the importance of securing business data, implementing safe application deployment, developing sound mobile policies, and consulting on Android device deployments. He works with many Android Partners such as VMWare, BlackBerry, MobileIron, Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia, and the Google Pixel hardware team. Additionally, Mike was responsible for writing the Google Android STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) for Android versions 10 - 12 for DISA as well as assisted with the NIAP certification of the Pixel devices. Mike also served as the Industry Vice-Chair for the ATARC FISMA Mobility Group and has collaborated with NIST on publications such as SP800-53. Mike also spent 8 years in the US Army, has a degree in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University, and is a credentialed CISSP and GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst.

Matt McCool

McCool is responsible for managing the agency’s largest office which conducts more than 2,000 protective missions per year for the President, Vice President, other government officials as well as visiting world leaders and dignitaries. Additionally, the Washington Field Office conducts investigative missions including investigations into the exploitation of America’s financial and payment systems, cyber-enabled financial crimes, and threats against the Secret Service’s protectees across the National Capital Region, which includes the District of Columbia and 14 surrounding counties in Maryland and Virginia. He is tasked with leading the Secret Service’s busiest field office, comprised of 225 special agents and 69 analytical, administrative, professional, and technical employees.

Prior to assuming his current role, McCool was the Deputy Special Agent in Charge at the Washington Field Office. He was responsible for managing the entire operational portfolio of the Secret Service’s busiest field office.

Before his tenure in the Washington Field Office, McCool served as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Office. He managed resources and staffing for all protective operations in New York City, approving security plans for visits by the President, Vice President, foreign heads of state, and other USSS protected persons. Notably, he led coordination efforts for the 76th and 77th United Nations General Assemblies, which were designated as National Special Security Events. His responsibilities also included direct oversight of five NYC Protection Squads, NYC Protective Operations, and the NYC Protective Intelligence Squad.

In December 2019, as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division (PPD), McCool was tasked with leading, coordinating, and approving comprehensive security plans for Presidents Trump and Biden. Additionally, he oversaw training and employee development for the PPD, including curriculum development and enhanced real-world protective and firearms training.

McCool's other assignments within the Secret Service included roles as Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Vice Presidential Protective Division, Detail Leader for the Secretary of Homeland Security, Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Special Operations Division as a Team Leader on the Counter Assault Team, Assistant Attaché in the Rome Field Office at the U.S. Embassy in Italy, Program Manager for the Special Operations Training Section as an instructor at the James J. Rowley Training Center, and various roles in the New York Field Office where he began his career.
