DS3 PRIVATE LINE SERVICE​​ 

 

I.          SERVICE DESCRIPTION:  A point-to-point, dedicated circuit between customer premises that is used for simultaneous two-way transmission of digital signals at a transmission speed of 44.735 Mbps.  One DS3 channel provides the equivalent information handling capacity of 28 DS1 channels or 672 voice equivalent circuits.  A single DS3 inter-exchange channel (IXC) connects two designated Company terminals on the Company’s digital fiber-optic network.  Access to this service is via​​  Dedicated Access​​  only.​​

V.         TERMS AND CONDITIONS:  In addition to the​​  General Terms and Conditions​​ , the following applies.​​ 

 

1.         Special Access Surcharges for private line services will not be applied after receipt of an Exemption Certificate from the Customer.  A credit, not to exceed three months, will be given for a private line surcharge imposed during the period prior to the receipt of the Exemption Certificate.​​
