Economy Frame Relay Service  This service is not available to new Customers.  Service will continue through the term of service under Customer contracts for Economy Frame Relay Service which are fully executed by all parties prior to January 1, 2003.

 

Economy Frame Relay Service (eFR) is comprised of Economy Frame Relay ports at 56 kbps (bundled access and frame relay port) and Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVCs) within the U.S. Mainland.  An Economy Frame Relay PVC is a logical Customer-dedicated communications path defined between an Economy Frame Relay port and a standard Frame Relay Service port in the U.S. Mainland.

 

Economy Frame Relay Service does not support the following:

 

·                     Frame Relay Service to ATM Service Interworking

·                     Metro Frame Relay Service

·                     Priority PVCs

·                     PVC Redirect

·                     Usage Based PVCs

·                     Zero CIR PVCs

 

Eligibility:

 

·                     Minimum term of service:  1 year.

 

Charges:

In lieu of standard installation charges, the following per-port and per-PVC charges apply per installation, de-installation and reconfiguration of Economy Frame Relay ports and PVCs, based on term of service:

Discounts:  The Frame Relay Discount Schedule does not apply.

 

Other Conditions:

 

Early Termination:  If a Customer terminates service of an Economy Frame Relay port or PVC prior to the end of the Customer’s committed term of service for that port or PVC, the Customer will be billed and required to pay an early termination charge in an amount equal to the monthly recurring charges for that port or PVC in the monthly period in which the Customer terminates service.
