Our Commitment to Small Business.

Verizon has a documented history of developing and growing small businesses, and we are proud to work with diverse suppliers. Across Verizon, we spent, directly and indirectly, $54.8 billion in goods and services from diverse suppliers in 2019. We are a proud charter member of the Billion Dollar Roundtable, a coalition of companies that spends more than $1 billion each year with diverse suppliers.

Our Public Sector Small Business Partner ecosystem includes many small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and HUBZone companies.

Why We Do It

Working with small businesses drives operational efficiencies for our customers. In the federal space, we see great value from small business with competencies that complement and enhance Verizon’s service offerings.

This is beneficial to all parties, but these relationships are especially important to the community, as they support job creation and growth in local economies.

We work with small businesses throughout the year, and are continually seeking new companies to enhance our small business ecosystem and help us provide successful customer engagements.

How We Deliver

Verizon is poised to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions and seamless user experiences to our Federal customers. We have selected companies that complement our experience, our capabilities and our solutions to be a part of our subcontractor ecosystem.

What We Look For

We focus on small businesses that possess extensive agency experience and a track record of delivering competitive solutions. We look for companies that have unique capabilities and experience in managed services, security and advanced communications.

Reconocimiento

Verizon was named one of the top leaders in corporate supply diversity in 2018. We are committed to mentoring, promoting and engaging with diverse businesses in our supply chain, and believe that diverse businesses create the greatest economic impact in our communities, as well as offer innovative, high quality and cost effective solutions for Verizon to better serve our customers.

A variety of contract options.

Our federal contracts enable us to team with best-in-class small businesses to deliver a wide range of solutions. We work with our small business providers to find the contract vehicles with the best fit.
