Resumen
Network Detection and Response (NDR) provides network threat detection, full-packet forensics, and integrated response for enterprise, cloud, or industrial environments. It is delivered as a cloud utility, enabling retention of network packet data (network data) which can be continuously analyzed using various detection techniques, including threat intelligence, signatures, and behavioral/anomaly classifiers. The platform provides your incident response teams with visibility into network packet data, meta data, and contextual data (via integrations) for impact analysis, investigation, and response.
Network Detection and Response uses network sensors installed locally on your network or cloud environment to passively capture network data and stream it to the platform for analysis, threat detection, correlation of threats, and to create a long term-forensic memory of the network data. The platform includes a web-based customer portal (Visualizer) that provides you access to view your network data and identified threats, manage and administer your use of the Service, and obtain reports.
The NDR platform performs comprehensive and deep threat searches and analysis, using machine learning, behavioral analysis, statistical modeling, and heuristics techniques. These are augmented by threat intelligence curated by Verizon, from third party and open source feeds, and, in some cases, from Customer, to capture the uniqueness of their environments.
The Network Detection and Response platform is a cloud-delivered platform that unifies network detection, full-packet forensics and integrated response. Verizon is well positioned to help organizations shift from network prevention-based security to detection and response. Organizations can achieve defense via advanced analytics in enterprise, cloud, and other environments such as 5G, IoT, or industrial with near real-time and retrospective detections. Full-fidelity packet captures, indexed and retained for one, three, six, 12 months or longer, create a rapidly searchable network memory in the platform. By unifying detections and forensics in an intuitive and immersive user interface (Visualizer), Network Detection and Response delivers comprehensive advantages over current security products. The NDR platform integrates with other security products, features the ease and cost savings of an on-demand deployment model, and enables companies to consolidate multiple, disconnected point products.

Pricing Overview - Pricing varies based on bandwidth capacity selection and duration of retention and retrospection. Pricing is based on monthly recurring charge (MRC) structure. Netflow volume varies based on bandwidth tier, which is determined by packet capture and netflow. Certain pricing options include standard technical support.
Bandwidth Tiers - Bandwidth value is the amount of data sent back to the Network Detection and Response platform, which refines 60-80 percent of the traffic before being sent to the cloud. Higher bandwidth options are also available as custom offerings.

Service disruptions can hurt a company's bottom line and compromise an organization's mission. The economic and reputational imperatives of the current market have shifted the discussion from IT disaster recovery to an enterprise-wide business continuity focus.
Organizations of all sizes and industry types should have ongoing, enterprise-wide Business Continuity (BC).Programs that develop, prepare and exercise the various areas of continuity from critical business processes to IT service availabilities. The Business Continuity Program should address areas such as Emergency Response, Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, Supplier Plans, Exercises, and ongoing BC program management.
The goals of today’s most relevant Business Continuity Programs are those providing organizations with an enterprise-wide business continuity focus, that not only includes strategizing and planning for IT service availability and disaster recovery, but addresses the ability to manage all areas of critical and continuity activities of the program to help prepare and mitigate the impact from ever-increasing risks threatening to interrupt organizations’ critical processes.
Key criteria your organization should consider when creating a relevant, enterprise-wide Business Continuity Program to help protect your business critical information and processes- The Executive Team has established enterprise-wide business continuity objectives
- The Business Continuity Program is
- Enterprise-wide, and extends beyond the IT department
- Part of the organization’s annual operational budget
- An on-going, steady-state operation of the business
- Regular assessments and reviews to validate business recovery requirements, priorities capabilities and compliance requirements
- IT Service strategies and recovery solutions to maintain effective service resiliency and availability align to the business requirements
- Appropriate emergency response, business continuity, communications and disaster recovery plans are designed and developed to provide proper guidance during an event
- Regular BC Program maintenance is being performed to manage the program changes
- Determine if you can/will manage the BC Program internally, or using a BC partner
- If a BC partner, determine those with the best capabilities to manage your organization’s size and needs
- Confirm the group or persons managing your BC Program is qualified, they have references, ISO accreditations and BC certifications
- Annual exercises and tests are performed before an event happens, validating your plans effectiveness
- Develop clear and simple methods, policies and procedures to follow
- Keep all resources properly trained
- Once the event is over, you should have a plan in place to bring your business back to normal operations
