Each and every day, you won’t find an online news site, a newspaper or a radio or television news program that doesn’t have a story about privacy in the tech sector.
As a result of this increased attention and awareness, Congress, federal and state legislators, regulatory agencies and others have started asking questions about what tech companies are doing with personal consumer information that’s sometimes unknowingly shared online.
Over the past couple of months, a myriad of tech companies, internet service providers (ISPs), cable companies, online apps and others have notified their customers with new or updated privacy policies. Like many companies Verizon and its subsidiary Oath are no exception.
