I always enjoy watching award shows to see who the winners will thank. While some have very long lists of those they wish to acknowledge, for us at Verizon, it’s pretty simple—it’s you, above anyone else, who deserve our thanks. It’s because of you that Verizon again ranked highest in all six regions (for the fourth consecutive time) and received more awards than any other U.S. provider for a record 21st time in a row, according to the latest J.D. Power 2018 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study℠, Volume 2.

The study asked wireless customers like you about their call, message, email and web connection experiences on their mobile devices. The study, conducted between January and June 2018, covers six regions of the U.S., including 48 states and the District of Columbia, and recognizes the highest-ranking companies based on the results of their customers’ experiences. You responded and the message was loud and clear— for more than 10 years in a row, our wireless network has ranked highest across the nation.

What does it mean for you?

Our talented and dedicated engineers have built the nation’s best, most reliable and largest wireless 4G LTE network in the nation so you can be sure you’ll be able to use your device when and how you want. Whatever matters most to you – whether it’s playing a game, streaming music or a movie, sharing that perfect moment with your friends, or connecting with loved ones when extreme weather strikes – you can do it best with Verizon.

How does Verizon Remain on Top for Customers?

Our customers are what drive us to improve each and every day. These consistent results don’t happen by chance. They’re the result of careful year-round planning, investment in the latest technologies and engineering for an experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations.

Multiple third party studies show Verizon as the clear leader in network performance

Nationwide, we are consistently recognized for providing a superior network experience by a wide range of independent third parties. Just this year, Verizon was ranked #1 in the nation for a record ninth time in a row by RootMetrics®**; was declared to have the largest 4G LTE footprint by far on the U.S. Interstate System in the recent P3 Connectivity on Interstates Report ***; was recognized as best in streaming****; and, for April, May and June, was found to deliver the best real-world download speeds by Tutela, a widely installed network testing software, with over 250 million devices globally.*****

When it comes to your wireless experience, we know you expect a network that you can count on. That’s why we will never stop working to deliver the network experience you deserve. And, we’ll never stop thanking you for trusting us to deliver on this promise.

Sincerely,

Tami Erwin

Executive Vice President, Verizon Wireless Operations
