Verizon Connect integrated dash cam
The Verizon Connect team helps companies with mobile work forces in many ways, including by connecting and tracking their vehicles and drivers, making them safer and more efficient.
One recent successful product for fleets is an integrated dash cam, which records driver behavior and then uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to automatically sift through the hours of footage and identify dangerous situations. Those insights help companies improve safety and training.
Drivers may initially be wary of the camera in the cab, only to find it serves as an advocate for their good habits and proves their innocence when criminals instigate accidents. The cameras have already saved fleet companies thousands of dollars by disproving fraudulent insurance claims.
