On today’s episode of Up To Speed, we visit the newest gridiron and crown jewel of the Southern California sports scene: SoFi Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.
SoFi is the perfect place for any fan with a 5G device to enjoy Verizon’s 5G Multi-View Experience.
“From your seat you only get one view,” explained Marlon Anguin, Manager of Sports Product Team, Global Network & Technology. “With Multi-View, a fan can choose to watch any play from seven different camera angles in near real time.”
Fans can also use the app to see replays from those angles, experience fun, augmented-reality filters on top plays and use a selfie cam to win bragging rights with family and friends.
Fans will find the Multi-View app within each team’s fan club app. If they are on a 5G device while in the stadium — and only in the stadium — even while waiting in line for food, they’ll be able to stay connected to the game and enjoy it in a whole new way.
The Multi-View experience is currently available at seven state-of-the-art stadiums.
“We’re in an exciting time for technology and Verizon,” said Marlon. “We’re super excited to build these products, get them in the hands of fans, improve engagement and find out what we can do next.”
