First, the Verizon Up reward program brings members early and expedited venue entry for some of the biggest names in music today. Ticket winners will be given a special up-close experience within the Verizon Up Members section, including a limited number of VIP meet-and-greet opportunities available at select shows. Second, Verizon is testing out the use of drones to aid first responders after a storm or natural disaster. The drone will be used to test cell signals in storm-hit areas and also, scan flooded buildings, oil and gas leaks and wildfires, and to assist in search and rescues.
