As organizations increasingly rely on mobile technologies for conducting business and serving today’s highly digital consumers, the strength and reliability of the wireless networks that they depend on matters. So why trust your brand to any provider in today’s high stakes market when there is a clear leader?
Verizon’s network was rated No. 1 among U.S.-based wireless companies in overall network performance for the seventh consecutive testing period in RootMetrics’ latest RootScore® Report. Verizon swept all performance awards in consecutive national reports, and is undefeated in overall performance in 48 states and 93% of 125 metro markets. Verizon’s national sweep included all six network categories for all of 2016, including reliability, data, speed, call, text and overall performance – an industry first since testing began.
“Whether it’s a first responder answering a call of duty, a plant manager directing manufacturing operations or a fleet manager monitoring driver safety, a high performing network is critical for ensuring that voice and data communications are seamlessly transmitted between parties,” said Thomas Fox, senior vice president for Verizon’s Wireless Business Group. “And as more organizations adopt a mobile first approach to business, the strength and reliability of the network that a company is depending on will be an essential tool for success.”
Verizon continues to invest heavily in its wireless network and is constantly innovating to meet the growing demand by organizations for new services and solutions such as the Internet of Things. In fact, Verizon has invested $122 billion in its network since 2000 (including $11.2B in 2016 alone) and continues to invest annually in the latest technologies for providing the best customer experiences.
Benefits for business and government customers of Verizon’s continued investment and innovation in its network include:
- Verizon’s 4G LTE network covers more than 2.4 million square miles in the US and 314 million people, more than any other wireless company.
- Verizon quickly adjusts to customer-demand, with the latest antenna technology, coupled with state of the art software platforms, which also accelerates the deployment of new services.
- Verizon’s innovative small cell deployment is the largest in the nation and is foundational to providing the best experience.
- From engineers monitoring traffic, to backpacking baseline technicians, Verizon’s dedicated Network team is committed to providing customers with a network they can count on 24/7.
