Flood Wall Protection at Verizon Headquarters 140 West St New York CityAfter sustaining severe damage from Superstorm Sandy, Verizon this week tested an emergency flood protection wall to surround our property to prevent any future devastation to our infrastructure at 140 West St in Lower Manhattan.  After the test, the wall was dismantled and stored for future use.​​ 

New York Times reporter, David Dunlap visited the site on Monday October, 28th to report on the work being done there. You can read his report here.​​
