With the Holiday season upon us and sports seasons in full swing, it can be tough to catch your favorite game or show when you’re bouncing between all of those Holiday parties. The good news for FiOS customers is that no matter where you are, you can catch your favorite sports, news, food, movie or DIY project this season with the FiOS Mobile App.
When we announced our initial out-of-home channel lineup in September we said this was just the beginning. Today, for a total of 25 channels available on a variety of devices, we’re adding 16 more channels for our customers to watch either in the home or on the go. You can choose from AXS.tv, beIN SPORT, beIN SPORT Espanol, Bloomberg TV, Cine Sony Television, Cooking Channel, Encore, FEARnet, NFL RedZone (tablet only), SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME EXTREME, Sony Movie Channel, STARZ, Trinity Broadcast, Universal Sports and TVGN (TV Guide Network).
FiOS TV customers who are FiOS Internet customers can also use their mobile devices and tablets to watch up to 91 live linear national channels at home. In addition, FiOS TV and Internet customers in the New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., areas can use their eligible tablets and mobile phones to watch news and weather at home on the local affiliates including CBS and Fox, and the local affiliates of Spanish-language networks such as UniMas and Univision.
More Sports Than You Can Shake a Drumstick At
For those of you who can’t get enough of sports, the addition of beIN and NFL Redzone are just the latest channels we’re adding. So soccer fans can follow their favorite leagues, cups and tournaments with beIN and beIN Español. FiOS customers can already watch the NFL Network and the Tennis channel on-the-go, so highlights and latest fantasy stats are at your fingertips. And if sports isn’t your thing, you can catch your favorite lifestyle shows from HGTV, Food Network and the Cooking Channel or tune in for the latest news with Bloomberg TV.
