For the ninth consecutive year, Verizon FiOS rated highest in the coveted PCMag Readers’ Choice Award that evaluates Internet service providers on everything from reliability and speed to customer service and technical support.
PCMag readers are technically fluent, astute and demanding when it comes to the services that power their professional and personal lives, making this year’s victory all the more gratifying.
Once again, FiOS Internet earned the highest overall satisfaction rating in the magazine’s annual survey about Internet service providers, plus the highest ratings in many other key categories as the chart shows.
For overall satisfaction, FiOS Internet earned a score of 8.5 on a 10 point scale as compared to the average 7.3 rating of all cable providers.
Two hallmarks of FiOS Internet -- reliability and speed -- also helped FiOS rate highest, and affirms our goal of offering the fastest, most consistent and reliable Internet service in the country.
Atop the accolades on key service attributes, we’re particularly pleased that PCMag readers rated FiOS Internet the broadband service provider they would most likely recommend to a friend or colleague. That’s a very important statistic because it looks at how likely consumers can help sell the service via word of mouth.
Nine years in a row is no fluke. Last year, FiOS Internet was also rated the fastest ISP in the nation based on download and upload speed by PCMag.com readers. Hear what PCMag had to say about that speed test here.
We’re not resting on our laurels. We’ll do everything we can to continue satisfying customers and be rated tops for the 10th year in a row next year. To see if FiOS is offered where you live, visit here.
