The Hub app is decent, plenty of features from the OBDII reader connected to the vehicle. You can even classify trip history as personal or business and export to an Excel sheet, which is convenient. Be forewarned, however, that the Google Assistant features seemingly do not work, as I have been unable to connect to my Google Assistant account to use the voice features. As of right now, 27 August, the regular Hum without the speaker would have sufficed. That definitely puts a damper on the overall use, but it does come with good features in the app.

Hum^x tiene cada función de Hum+ y las nuevas funciones de los autos conectados, como un hotspot Wi-Fi estés donde estés y NumberShare, con el respaldo de la red 4G LTE más grande y confiable del país. Usa NumberShare para guardar y llamar hasta 3 de tus contactos favoritos o recibir llamadas a través de tu altavoz Hum^x. Conecta hasta 10 dispositivos para que tu familia y tú puedan hacer streaming, jugar y navegar, todo vayan donde vayan. Incluso puedes seguir usando Wi-Fi por hasta una hora después de que se haya apagado el vehículo.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Works great outside of the fact that it wont let me save any hum contacts and just says error try again later which has been going on for a week now

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I will start with I do work for Verizon, however this review is my own and I was not paid to do this. So I have three of these and love them! I originally got these so I can track my car in case it was stolen, however it has been much more helpful than this. I am able to see what check engine light issues are and when one does pop up I am able to talk to a real certified mechanic about the issue and get some options on how to fix it. These devices also come with roadside assistance, maintenance reminders, portable internet for the kids while we travel for events and vacation. It is also handy for outdoor pop up shops when we do them since the internet stays on for up to an hour after you turn your car off. And for the fellas, if you have a ford it will keep track of gas, so you can refill the gas tank for your significant other lol. This is also great for teens that are just starting to drive since it also has crash detection and boundary limits so you know where they are in case of an emergency. For the price this is a great thing to have for anyone and would really recommend it. Hope this helps!

Perfect for those that keep older cars with no payments

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I have a a 2003 Nissan Altima that I use to this for. I have Wi-Fi, on board diagnostics, vehicle updates, 4 roadside assistance events and peace of mind with my older vehicle.

Can Hum replace my Mercedes connection that was previously provided by Verizon and was discontinued due to using a 3G signal that Verizon would no longer support. If yes will it provide the same connection services.

We cannot guaranty a feature to feature match with the services that your Mercedes connection had. However we can say that Hum does have a wealth of features including auto health indicators, roadside assistance, crash detection, boundary alerts, driving safety score and Wi-Fi hotspot.
