incorrect information from two different customers service reps. There is no fall detection..

I wanted a fall detection device and called customer service twice prior to purchasing the care smart watch and both times I was told that the watch had fall detection. It does NOT! I purchased the watch while talking to the 2nd Verizon representative. while waiting for delivery I looked at the FAQ's for this watch and saw that Verizon said this watch did not have fall detection. I again called Verizon and a 3rd representative told me the watch has fall detection. I pointed out the statement in the FAQs that the watch did not have fall detection and was transferred to a 4th representative that confirmed there is no fall detection with the Care Smart Watch. It is my belief the confusion is because Verizon has a "Care Smart" app and that app supports BETTER watches that have the fall detection ability. Very frustrating experience.

I bought this watch for my husband with memory issues. I am the only phone number for him to call and he calls accidentally alot. He pure his hands behind his back which causes the phone to swipe to the left and call. It does track well. This watch is of no use to us. I would like a refund.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

My father wanted to talk to his children but a regular phone had too many buttons and he got confused . Very easy to use. Also has the ability to track where he is . Many with Alzheimer’s often wonder. If you are a care giver you want this .

You wiuld rarely find where is your love one is

We bought it for 90 yers old mom. it takes many minutes to refresh and it does not show acurate location . We lives 6 miles from New York in very populated suburb with good reception. But location this watch often show is over one mile circle

Not Dependable as GPS

I bought this 6 weeks ago to use as a gps for my husband who has dementia, thought if he left home it would alert me. But 3/4 of the time the app refresh just spins forever and it cant find the watch. Completely useless if it wont work half the time. I've been with Verizon for 20 years and they wouldn't even return it.

Horrible, who makes these?

Switched from a gizmo to this for my autistic adult son. Hate it. The charger idea is awful. The charging area gets dirty easily since it's on the back of the watch and not covered. The location tracking is often poor. I am constantly getting emails about setting up the watch even though I've set it up in the app over a year ago. And now, about a year later it totally won't turn on! The on button has slowly been getting more and more difficult to get it to come on and now it won't work at all. I can't believe these watches cost as much as they do. The gizmo 2 was better than this but this seemed more 'adult' so my son was really happy about this. Don't waste your money it won't last.

The watch itself works ok but has a major problem with charging. It is extremely difficult to activate charging with the magnetic power cord. Biggest pain ever. This would prevent me from ever buying this watch again!!! N

Hi Denise. We find that charging with the watch face down works best. Also, make sure the connector plates and magnetic charging points are clean. You can clean the charging points on the back of the watch with a cotton swab, microfiber cloth or an alcohol wipe cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Hope this helps.

Was not aware that the only way to communicate with the watch is through an app. Every person on the contact list would have to download this app. This should be advertised up front. I returned the watch because of this.

However, trusted contacts can call the watch without using the app. Trusted contacts are set up by the primary caregiver/account holder. We're sorry that you weren't happy with your Care Smart watch. Instead, perhaps the Care Smart app, available for Apple Watch, will better suit your needs. This solution has no limitations on calling or messaging. You can call and send messages as you would normally. Plus, Care Smart for Apple Watch offers features like 24/7 Get-Help Professional Monitoring for live agent voice response when the Get Help button is tapped or a fall is reported. Good product with room for improvement

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Requires some degree of tech use understanding on the part of the wearer. Text on display small for visually impaired., Screen size challenging for seniors with compromised manual dexterity. Otherwise a very good device. Would definitely consider a larger display home-based product without GPS locating as an alternate "panic-button" alternative.
