Yes. We'd say that Gizmo Watch 3 is water-resistant, but here's some context you might find helpful: The IP68 rating Gizmo Watch 3 means the watch can be submerged in shallow water for up to an hour. It's good for, say, washing hands, getting caught in the rain and such. However, being overly cautious, we don't recommend using it while swimming, and avoid exposing it to high-pressure water spray, for example at a water park, or from a hose, or from jumping into the pool.

From the GizmoHub app, you can remotely mute the watch's incoming call ringer, text alerts and fun sounds. To do that, in GizmoHub,: 1. Tap on "Kids". Swipe to the kid you want (if more than one). 2. Tap on The Settings "gear" icon. 3. Scroll down to Volume. 4. Tap on the speaker icon. A line through the speaker and the word "Silent" confirms that the watch sounds are now muted. In addition to the above, Gizmo Watch 3 also has School Mode which disables all features on the watch except for the ability to use the SOS button to call the designated emergency contact. Yes. Each Gizmo watch has its own phone number and requires its own line of service. Unlimited service is $10 per month plus tax and fees. -Joe

Each Gizmo Watch is a standalone line and has its own phone number. Your child does not need to have a smartphone to use Gizmo. In fact, the whole point of Gizmo is to allow kids and family to in touch when the kids are too young for a smartphone. Gizmo does not connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth or NumberShare but parents do use the GizmoHub app on their smartphones to communicate with, locate and manage their child's Gizmo Watch.

Yes it does. In addition, Gizmo Watch 3 has an activity tracker. Kids can select their workout for walking, running or jumping and keep track of their daily goals for workout time and distance. The CDC recommends that kids starting as young as age 6 get or more of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily. Gizmo watches are set to capture a kid's progress toward that goal, as well as a daily step goal the parent can set in the GizmoHub app.
