We upgraded to the new, more expensive 5G router to hopefully get a better signal and have had nothing but signal issues. Ordered an extender to see if it would help and Verizon sent us the extender that doesn’t work with the router we have. Spent a ton of time trying to get it to pair only to be told it’s not compatible when I got on the phone with support, even though she had me run around the house trying to get it to pair. When I asked if they can send the one that is compatible I was told it wasn’t in stock and no timing on when it would be. It’s being returned.

I got on the Verizon website to order an Extender that would work with my Verizon Gateway. I researched everything, read the reviews, looked at the directions and thought it couldn't be as hard as people were making it out to be. It arrived and, after almost 2 hours of frustration with set-up, I stumbled on a listing that indicated the E3200 only works with 3 Gateway models. Mine is not one of them. Come on Verizon! Put that in the details for customers who are ordering your equipment. To those of you considering this extender, check the model number on your Gateway to be sure it works with the E3200. My model doesn't work with any extender. Model # WNC-CR200A

My husband and I moved to a new home and chose to upgrade our internet getting a brand new router. We noticed that internet/Wifi was dropping in the living room so I reached out to Verizon and this extender was suggested. Get the extender just to find out that it only pairs to my router via a wired connection. Why would I want to run a cord all the way through my house creating a tripping hazard?? Makes no sense. They need an extender that pairs wirelessly. Returning this product right away

I saw a lot of negative reviews about this item but honestly those negative reviews were so not useful and most of them from the people who apparently lack common sense. I’ve had VERIZON services for 8 years now and home services for about 2 of those 8. I’ve never had an issue with my home WiFi but when I purchased my home, the signal wasn’t reaching the upper level. There’s 3. So I purchased this bad boy and let me tell you… I wish I’d did it sooner! Literally just plug it in and that’s it. Because if you have VERIZON services it helps make the VERIZON services stronger. Legit not hard or taxing. It’s a little pricey, yes but I don’t mind it for the reliability and peace of mind. And I feel like it’s a bit bulky for an extender at almost twice the size of the router but the performance makes up for it. Hope that helps.

I’ve been needing a WiFi extender for a while. After doing the research I chose Verizons extender, since I already have Fios. Now I have WiFi on my Patio ! It works fantastic for streaming music and movies ! I highly recommend this router.

Was sold this to improve WiFi signal that suddenly deteriorated. It wasn’t compatible with my router ( which Verizon failed to tell me). Then they replaced the router with no further benefit. Spent 3 hours on chat to correct this, only being told that I needed to upgrade my Fios system…… Verizon is just about sales, not customers

I have a small office (metal building with one window) about thirty-five feet from my house where my wifi box is located. Would this extender get me a good signal to my office? Would I need to put it at the window?
