Términos y Condiciones del Programa de intercambio de dispositivos

When participating in the Verizon Device Trade–in Program ("Program"), you will be asked to agree to the following terms and conditions:

These terms and conditions apply whether I am trading in one (1) or multiple devices in the same transaction in exchange for trade-in credit(s), the amount of which is based on either the market value of my device(s) at the time I created the trade-in order, or promo value, if applicable, to my trade-in order at the time it was created.

General Rules (applicable to all trade-ins)

It's my responsibility, before I relinquish my device(s) to Verizon, to:

  • Eliminar toda la información y los datos personales, incluidas las fotos ("Contenido")
  • Quitar y conservar todos los accesorios, como la memoria o las tarjetas SIM ("Tarjetas")
  • "Desbloquear" mi dispositivo deshabilitando/desactivando todas las funciones de seguridad protegidas por contraseña (por ejemplo, Buscar mi iPhone o Kill Switch)

Entiendo que no podré ser elegible para ningún crédito por el intercambio de mi dispositivo si:

  • The make, model and/or condition of the shipped device(s) doesn't match what I described when I completed my trade-in order(s).
  • My return method was to ship, but I didn’t use the Verizon-provided label or shipping kit.
  • My device(s) was never received by Verizon.
  • My device(s) was received by Verizon more than thirty (30) days after I completed my trade-in order(s).
  • Mi dispositivo no está desbloqueado
  • Mi dispositivo es un teléfono prepagado 4G en la caja que no ha tenido por lo menos un (1) pago mensual de servicio de Verizon

También comprendo que:

  • Si no borro el contenido ni quito las tarjetas al enviar mis dispositivos a Verizon, no me devolverán las tarjetas y no se podrá recuperar el contenido.
  • Once I relinquish my device(s) to Verizon the device(s) will not be returned to me
  • se me proporcionará un valor de intercambio estimado al momento de realizar el intercambio que está sujeto a la validación de la marca o modelo, elegibilidad y condición una vez que Verizon reciba mi(s) dispositivo(s)

Reglas especiales (aplicables a un intercambio elegible para el valor promocional)

Además de las Reglas Generales anteriores, si mis créditos de intercambio se basan en el precio promocional, entiendo que no seré elegible para recibir ningún crédito de intercambio para mi dispositivo si:

  • I don’t satisfy the conditions associated with the promotion under which I created my trade-in order, such as (but not limited to) maintaining active postpaid Verizon service on my new device(s) for a minimum number of months or changing to an ineligible Verizon service plan or paying off my device payment agreement early, or transferring my number to another Verizon account, or if I am an existing customer, upgrading my device and the device I am trading in was not active on my account for at least sixty (60) continuous days immediately prior to the upgrade date.
  • Devuelvo o cambio los dispositivos que me solicitaron para ser elegible para el precio promocional.

Note: a device with a damaged battery may be eligible for promo value if it is traded-in subject to a promo that accepts a device in any condition.

How and when do I get my trade-in credit(s)?

Trade-in credit(s) based on market value will be issued in accordance with what is presented at the time of trade-in submission. Final value is confirmed after Verizon receives the device(s) and validates make/model, eligibility, & condition. If I am an instant credit-eligible customer, we apply this value towards your device transaction; if any trade-in credit remains, the balance will be applied as a one time account credit. If instant credit is not presented at the time of your trade-in submission, trade-in credit(s) will be issued within two (2) weeks after Verizon receives your device(s). Trade-in credit payment options (if applicable) will be presented at the time of Trade-in submission. If applicable, Verizon e-Gift card (or other payment option if presented) is issued in the name of the person identified in the trade-in order submission and emailed to the address provided. If I am also eligible for trade-in credits based on promo value, the market value of my trade-in will be included in the promo value total and be applied in accordance with the applicable promo. In the event I am no longer eligible for trade-in credits based on promo value, I will still receive the market value for my trade-in, less any promo value credits already applied.

Trade-in credit(s) based on promo value will be applied, within 1 - 2 bill cycles. Final value is confirmed after Verizon receives the device(s) and validates make/model, eligibility & condition, in accordance with the applicable promotion, (i.e, a recurring bill credit on my Verizon account for the number of months specified in the applicable promotion, a one (1) time bill credit on my Verizon account or a Verizon e-Gift card). Trade-in credit(s) based on promo value are subject to reversal if I don’t comply with the Special Rules.
