Home Device Advisor perk with select home internet plans FAQs

You can choose the Home Device Advisor perk when you sign up for an eligible home internet plan.

Or, if you have an eligible plan, you can add the perk anytime in My Verizon:

1. Sign into either your:
   1. Mobile account (wireless home internet) - Select Services & perks and scroll down to view perks your plan is eligible for. Choose a perk.
   2. Fios account - Perks your plan is eligible for display under Recommended perks. Choose a perk.
2. Select the line to add the perk to. Follow the prompts to add and activate the perk.
3. Get the Tech Coach app (optional) for quick access to tech experts and helpful tech support content:
   1. Download Tech Coach for Android in Google Play™
   2. Download Tech Coach for iOS in the Apple App Store®

Yes. The Home Device Advisor perk replaces your Home Device Advisor subscription. We will notify you of this change if you select the perk option.

Yes, if you have an eligible home internet plan, you can change from Home Device Advisor to Verizon Home Device Protection anytime. Verizon Home Device Protect costs $25/month plus taxes.

With Verizon Home Device Protect you get:

• Connect & Protect - $0 installation for eligible home tech such as televisions, soundbars, security cameras, thermostats and doorbells.
  • Note: With Home Device Advisor, installation is $49/product.
• Repairs or replacement - If your eligible home entertainment, home office, wearable or smart home product experiences a covered breakdown, we'll repair or replace it for you.
• Second residence coverage - Protect eligible home tech in a second residence of your choosing - at no additional cost.
• 24/7 Expert help - 1-Tap access to expert support, device tips and self-help tech guides.
• In-home expert visits - 2 in-home visits per 12-month period from experts to help you configure, setup and optimize smart products or choose the best Wi-Fi devices for your home.
• Complete Tech Care - Get your laptops, gaming consoles and tablets tuned up and cleaned out.

When you add the Home Device Advisor perk to your eligible Verizon Home Internet plan:

• Billing and access starts when the eligible plan is activated/installed and you enroll in the perk.
• The $10/month charge appears on your:
  • Mobile bill if the perk is added to your 5G Home, 5G Home Plus, LTE Home or LTE Home Plus (wireless internet) plan.
  • Fios Home Internet bill if the perk is added to your Fios Home Internet account.
• The perk renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel your perk subscription anytime in My Verizon.

If you cancel your Home Device Advisor perk during the billing period, product features will terminate once the product is canceled/removed from the account. The $10 charge for that month is refunded or prorated, less the cost of any claims paid or repairs made.

To cancel:

• 5G Home, LTE Home account - Visit My Verizon, then select Services & perks to manage the perk.

• Fios Home Internet account - Visit My Verizon. On your homepage, scroll down to view your perks. Select the perk to manage.

Here's what happens if you change or cancel your eligible home internet plan. If you:

• Change the internet plan with the perk from a qualifying plan to another qualifying plan, your perk won't change.
• Cancel your qualifying Verizon home internet plan, or change to a non-qualifying plan, your Home Device Advisor perk ends immediately.
  • You can add Home Device Advisor to a non-qualifying plan for $15/month.
  • You can change or cancel your plan anytime through My Verizon.
