How to use Verizon Cloud on your mobile device (5:52)
Let's walk through how to enable some useful features in the Verizon Cloud app.
Tag and Search:
The Tag and Search feature helps you search for photos of people and things faster.
On the home screen, go to your Settings by selecting the Gear icon from the top right. Scroll down to your Preferences. Select Tag and Search and then toggle it on. After enabling this feature, it can take up to 24 hours to scan your photos.
To start finding things in your photos, select Search from the home menu. Type the name of an object or thing you are looking for and you'll see all the photos we've recognized displayed.
Cloud will also find and identify people in your photos.
To tag a person's name, select Library at the bottom of your screen. Choose Photos & videos. From the top tabs, select Albums and then People. You'll see groups of photos that Cloud has identified with the same person. Select one to see all their photos. Tap Add a Name at the top of the screen and enter their name. You can repeat this for anyone else you want tagged by name.
Locations:
Verizon Cloud can highlight all your geotagged memories grouped by location.
To use this feature, you'll need to first enable your camera to geotag photos.
On iOS, open your device Settings and choose Privacy & Security. Select Location Services and then find the Camera app. Set location access to While Using the App so it can always access your location whenever you take a new photo or video.
On Android™, open your device Settings and select Apps. Choose the Camera app and select Permissions. Next, select Location. Set location access to Allow only while using the app.
Back in the Verizon Cloud app, select Library from the home menu. Choose Photos & Videos. From the top tabs, select Locations.
The map will highlight all your geotagged memories grouped by location.
Flashbacks and Stories:
With the Cloud Flashbacks and Stories features, you can relive and share your memories.
Your Flashbacks and Stories will be highlighted on the home screen. You can also view them from your library. Select Photos & Videos and then choose the Flashbacks or Stories tab.
To share a Flashback, press and hold one of your Flashbacks. Select the three dots in the upper right corner. Next, select the Share option to share all images and videos within the Flashback.
To share Stories, select the story you want to share. To create the Story, tap the Play button.
When complete, select the Share button at the top right corner of your screen. Next, give the Story a name.
Private Folder:
Help keep what's important safe in a PIN-protected folder.
To enable your Private Folder, select Library from the home menu and then select Private Folder.
If your Cloud profile isn't already set up, you'll be asked to do so now. Once complete, you're all set.
Next, select Get Started and create a 6-digit PIN.
Choose 3 security questions and answers to help access your account if you forget your PIN or need to reset it. If your device supports biometrics, you'll have the option to enable them now.
From the Private folder welcome screen, select any of the suggested upload icons to begin adding content or select the plus sign.
You can also add to your Private Folder from your Library. Select one of the desired media categories. Choose what you want in the private folder and select the three dots in the top right corner. Select Make Private. Confirm that you want to move the selected content to your Private Folder.
Now you'll see it displayed in your Private Folder. It will no longer be visible in your main Cloud view. It's only accessible within your Private Folder using your device security.
Favorites:
To save your favorite items, select Library from the home menu. For photos and videos, select the photo or video by pressing and holding. A checkmark will show what's selected.
At the bottom of the screen, click on the heart icon to add the selected files to your favorites.
For documents and audio files, tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Select Add to Favorites.
Favorited items will now appear in the Favorites section on the Cloud home screen.
Prints and Gifts:
Bring your memories to life with prints and one-of-a-kind gifts made from your photos.
To start shopping for your custom prints, select More from the home menu. Next, select Prints & Gifts. Review and accept the Fujifilm terms and conditions. Choose the option for local pickup or home delivery and select Get Started. Explore all the options and make a selection. Continue selecting exactly what you want, like format and sizing options.
Find the image you want to use from your Cloud library and then select Next.
Take a moment to review or edit the product preview and then select Add to Cart. Continue shopping for more or select Checkout Now. Follow the steps to complete your shipping and billing info. If everything looks good, select Place order.
Enable Notifications:
Don't miss out on the full Cloud experience. Turn on notifications to stay up-to-date with personalized content and the latest updates.
On the home screen, go to your Settings by selecting the Gear icon from the top right. Scroll down to your Preferences. Select Notifications.
