KYOCERA DuraXV Extreme+ Software Update
Verizon is pleased to announce a software update for your device. This software update has been tested to help optimize device performance, resolve known issues, apply the latest security updates and, when available, deliver new features.
Before you download:
- Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update.
System Update 3
The details:
Release date: 08/06/2024
Android Security Patch Level: February 2024
Software Version: 1.300VZ / 1.300NC
What's changing:
The current software update:
- Improved predictive text entry.
- Resolved an issue with map location details when using the PTT app.
- Resolved an issue with lock screen settings that occasionally caused a black screen to display.
- Resolved a ringtone issue with the Device Control app.
- Resolved an issue with folder sub-display.

Software Version: 1.200VZ / 1.200NC
What's changing:
The current software update includes the following:
- Security:
- The most up to date Android security patches.
- Performance improvements to address the following:
- Sound interruptions occurred during calls.
- Cache was not being cleared when exiting the browser app.
- New contacts added from a group message weren't showing while on the message detail screen.
- The user interface didn't include an option to change the time when asking the user to pick a time for "Don't miss out notifications."
- Wi-Fi would automatically turn on when there was a location positioning request.
- "Emergency location info" wasn't labeled in Wi-Fi Calling.
- The Messaging app failed to save attached files from text messages to SD storage.
- The Messaging app would not respond when displaying a list with too many messages and when marking all messages as read.
- Users couldn't unlock their screens when there was no free storage space on the device.
- Enhancements / feature adds
- Removed MVM app, bookmark, entry point in Settings > Launcher > Phone > Voice recognition.
- Added battery health dialog that will show when battery degradation is detected.
