To begin, make sure NFC is on.
Open the Notification Panel by touching and sliding down from the top of the screen.
Then, tap the Settings icon.
Scroll down and tap NFC and payment.
To turn on NFC, slide the switch to the On position.
To share files with other NFC-capable devices, tap Android Beam.
Then, slide the switch to the On position.
Once both your phone and another NFC-capable device have NFC and Android Beam turned on, you are ready to share.
To do so, go to a photo, video, web page, or other file you would like to share. For this example, we will share a photo.
Press the Home button.
Then, tap Apps.
Tap Gallery.
Now, find a photo that you want to share.
Once you've found the item you want to share, hold the back of your phone to the back of the other device.
When the devices connect, you will feel a vibration and see "Touch to beam."
Tap the photo to send it to the other device.
You may now pull the devices apart.
Note that the first time it may take a few seconds for the phones to connect.
On the other device, you may need to accept the transfer if prompted. You will see "Filed received" when the transfer is complete.
Pull down the Notifications Panel and tap the file name to see your photo.
Tap the photo in your history, then select the file name to view your image.
