Important Things to Know About Verizon Home Device Protect
Verizon Home Device Protect provides protection, support and more for virtually all your home tech. Here are important things to know:
- VDHP is $25.00/month plus applicable taxes and automatically renews each month until canceled.
- It is an optional product that you can cancel at any time.
- The plan offers repairs, replacements or reimbursement for covered breakdowns of eligible home tech. This does not include mobile phones.
- Plus, it provides coverage for accidental damage from handling on certain portable electronics.
- The plan offers tech support on day 1. Ability to file a claim begins when coverage starts on day 31. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
- A service fee of up to $99 plus tax applies for each approved claim.
- The claims limits are $3,000 per claim and $5,000 for all claims within a 12-month period.
