BASKING RIDGE – Just 12 years ago, it was a 3G world: apps were in their infancy, mobile gaming was a single player experience, and HD video streaming wasn’t a thing. So much about how we use our phones and consume content has changed, but one thing hasn’t changed during this time: when it comes to network quality, Verizon is the best. This isn’t according to us, but you.

Today, Verizon was named the no. 1 provider to deliver the highest level of network quality as part of the J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Wireless Network Quality Performance Study, Volume 1. For 12 straight years and 24 consecutive bi-annual reports, Verizon has earned top honors in numerous network performance categories in the eyes of consumers, making it the most awarded U.S. wireless provider for Network Quality by J.D. Power.

“No matter how technology advances or transforms, our focus on delivering quality experiences to our customers has remained the same,” said Kyle Malady, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Verizon. “It speaks not only to Verizon’s commitment to excellence, but also the pride our engineers take in maintaining the nation’s most awarded wireless network.”

In addition to J.D. Power awards, Verizon has a winning track record with other third-party organizations that test network experience not only based on consumer feedback, but also through technical drive tests and crowdsourced data.
