Whether it’s a utility deploying a smart grid, a manufacturer relying on condition-based maintenance for its equipment or a government organization needing to communicate a public safety notification to area residents, the strength and reliability of the wireless networks these organizations depend on matters. So why trust your business to any provider when there is a clear leader?
For the 18th consecutive time, Verizon has received more awards than any other provider in the J.D. Power Wireless Network Quality Study – further proof that when you need to connect, Verizon has you covered.
According to the latest J.D. Power 2017 Wireless Network Quality Performance Study, Volume 1, Verizon Wireless ranked “Highest Wireless Network Quality Performance across the Nation,” and performs highest than the industry average in all three quality categories: calling, messaging and data.
“This industry recognition is important validation, but gaining the confidence of our customers by maintaining valuable connections to their customers and partners every minute of the day is what matters most,” said Thomas (T.J.) Fox, senior vice president for Verizon’s Wireless Business Group. “And as more organizations increasingly turn to mobile technologies for getting business done, network dependability is an essential tool for success in today’s highly digital world.”
A key staple in Verizon’s network success is our consistent capital investment in our wireless network. Since 2000, we have invested more than $122 billion across the U.S. Verizon customers are benefitting from our innovative leadership – from the deployment of LTE Advanced technology that provides 50 percent faster peak speeds in close to 500 markets coast to coast, to the industry’s largest deployment of small cells that provides the best network experience.
Verizon Wireless received the highest numerical score among wireless service providers in the J.D. Power 2017 U.S. Wireless Network Quality Performance Study – Volume 1, based on 42,922 total responses throughout the Northeast, Southeast, North Central (tied), Southwest, Mid-Atlantic and West regions measuring the network quality experienced by customers with wireless phones, surveyed July-December 2016.
