Mix & Match

Today’s launch of our updated Mix & Match Unlimited plans reinforces the program as the best value in wireless by giving customers Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ as part of Play More and Get More Unlimited. Plus, we’re adding more data benefits, connected device discounts and making all the new Mix & Match plans 5G ready. From top to bottom, it’s a better connected experience built with speed, choice and entertainment -- all for the same price. Speaking of Mix & Match, one of our favorite dating show contestants Tyler Cameron stopped by to take the quiz and see which Unlimited plan fit his needs best.

We’re telling everyone. Here’s how.

V Teamers aren’t the only ones tuning into Up To Speed these days. Since we started broadcasting externally, we know that customers, media and analysts are tuning in. So, we’ve begun using Up To Speed to break news. And, as part of our on-going commitment to the Hispanic segment, we distributed the Mix & Match press release in Spanish to give our Hispanic consumers access to this valuable information in a relevant way. Anyone can visit our Spanish language website to see which plan works best for them.

A big day for 5G devices

Tomorrow we’re launching the Samsung Galaxy Note20 series and the new LG Velvet 5G UW.  The Galaxy Note20 series has long been known for its S-Pen stylus and its legion of hardcore fans. It really is a perfect phone for consumers and businesses, and it will work on our 5G Ultra Wideband and upcoming Nationwide 5G networks.

The LG Velvet is also launching tomorrow and while it is a more affordable 5G smartphone, it includes all the bells and whistles you’d find on a flagship smartphone, including a great camera, a huge display and access to both our 5G networks. It also comes in an attractive Verizon-exclusive Aurora Red.

Verizon Visa Card

We’re seeing our customers respond to our new Verizon Visa Card. Ronan has been “more than pleased” with the level of consumer interest in the card that rewards them for the things they’re already spending their money on, including things like take out, groceries and gas.

Friends & Family

We want V Teamers to be excited when discussing the benefits of being a Verizon customer when socializing away from work. Our Friends & Family discount now gives V Teamers the ability to offer our best pricing directly to their loved ones.

The continued evolution of Touchless Retail

In the past few months, we’ve reinvented our customer experience with Touchless Retail, making it safer and more efficient to do business with us. For instance, before visiting one of our stores, customers can learn about our in-store safety measures, adjusted retail hours and schedule an appointment through our store locator on our website.

Upon arrival, they’ll find exterior and interior social distancing markers, safety partitions, and sanitizing stations. Employees and customers are required to wear face coverings inside our stores.

We are also really excited to offer curbside pick up at most of our stores as yet another convenient option along with same day delivery. Customers can see if these options are available at their nearest store through our Verizon store locator page.

We have also enhanced the My Verizon app, so customers can do more than ever with it in store. This includes: scheduling an appointment, checking in at the store and self-scanning products. When it comes to payment, they have the choice of payment through a monthly bill, tap to pay, self-input of credit card information, or even cash payment through our bill payment kiosk.

And this is only the beginning of where we go.

Robocalling

We’ve helped customers avoid over 6 billion robocalls and we’re currently protecting more than 75 million consumer, business and prepaid wireless lines with Call Filter. We’ve been leading in many aspects, including providing both free and paid solutions for our customers to choose from, and we make more progress in the fight every day. Putting an end to robocalling requires all of the carriers to participate, and continue to innovate.
