Gizmo Privacy Policy for Kids

What can I do with my Gizmo watch?

A Gizmo watch is a special watch just for kids! There are many different types of Gizmo watches. It lets you do things like call and text with your mom, dad, and other people they say are okay, like your grandma or your best friend. Some Gizmo watches can even take pictures or videos, let you video chat, play games, count your steps, or even tell you the weather!

How does Gizmo help my parents?

Your Gizmo watch helps your parents and others they say are okay know where you are. It also lets your parents and those they’ve approved call you and send you messages. Some Gizmos even let them meet with you on a video call and let you send and get photos!  Your parents can also see who you’ve talked to on your Gizmo. If auto answer is turned on by your parent, and your mom or dad or someone they’ve approved calls and you don't answer, the watch will answer for you so they can hear you. There's also a special button on your watch that someone can press in an emergency to get important information about you, like if you have any allergies.

What info do you know about me?

When you use a Gizmo, we get certain information about you or your watch. We use this information to make Gizmo work and to help make it better. We only get information about you if your parent says it is okay.

When your parents set up your Gizmo, they tell us your name, how old you are, and maybe even give us a picture of you. They also tell us the phone numbers of people you can talk to and text with on your watch and tell us who they are, like your babysitter or grandma. Sometimes, they tell us important stuff like if you have any allergies, your blood type or other important health information that someone might need if you are sick. We also get info, like the type of Gizmo you wear and its phone number, so that it can get and make calls and texts, and you can use your watch.

Your Gizmo also learns about you when you use it. It knows where you are so your parents and other people they say are okay can find you, and it knows your phone number, as well as who you talk to and text with and when. It knows how you are using the watch, like if you are playing games or taking photos. It even knows how many steps you take and can keep track of when you are walking, running, or biking!

Do you share info about me?

We share things with your parents or other people they say are okay. We tell them where you are, who you talk to and when, and how many steps you take.

We may also share information with companies that do work for us. They can only use the information to help us make Gizmo work for you.

We do not sell information about you to anyone or use it to show you ads.

How long do you keep info about me?

We only keep the information we need to make your Gizmo work. When your parents don't want to use Gizmo anymore, they can delete their account and then we delete the information we have about you.

What if I want more information about how you treat my information?

If you want to know more about your Gizmo watch, you can visit the full Gizmo Privacy Policy with your mom or dad. They can help you understand it!

Can I see what information you have about me or ask that it be changed or deleted?

If you would like to see what info Gizmo has about you or ask that it be changed or deleted, talk to your mom or dad first. They can correct some information in the GizmoHub app and can also ask to see or delete the information we have about you in the GizmoHub app’s settings menu under Privacy.

What if I have questions about my Gizmo?

If you have any questions about your Gizmo, talk to your mom or dad first. You and your parents can also contact us by email, phone, or mail.
